Patterns ("we", "our", "the app") is a menstrual health tracking application delivered via Telegram. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Essential Data (required for app functionality)
- Menstrual cycle dates: Period start/end dates
- Daily symptom ratings: Severity scores (1-6 scale) from daily check-ins
- Free-text notes: Physical symptoms and other notes you share
- Telegram user ID: To deliver messages and maintain your account
Optional Data (with your consent)
- Pattern analysis data: Used to detect symptom patterns with AI
- Usage analytics: Anonymous data to improve the app
- Research data: Anonymized data for PMDD research
